The renovation of the Foyer St Jean in Mulhouse offered the opportunity to create a more lively decor and improve the acoustics. It will bring more serenity to the children under 18 who are hosted there because of their social or legal situation. Few words from the architect of the project:
TESTIMONY
I chose the TEMPO for the acoustic treatment of two rooms of the Foyer St Jean.
The hall is a transit area, and is also used as a play ground and occasionally as a party room. The concrete slab is very low and therefore does not allow to have a suspended ceiling.
So I combined panels screw mounted to ceiling with woodwork on the walls. As for the colours, I selected warm and vivid ones.
In the multi-activity room, the challenge was to arrange this space without the children being able to damage the equipment installed, considering the severe damage to the existing coconut walls. I therefore decided to work on the upper part of the two inner gables.
I enjoyed the idea of creating a decor in the manner of a large painting while keeping the same strong colours. By sticking to a few manufacturing specifications, I was able to design a lay-out as I like it!
A few suspended panels complete the sound treatment. They underline the beautiful height under the ceiling and beams.”

TESTIMONY
“We regularly recommend TEMPO products because of their quality. We are comfortable with the different implementations, the range of colours is interesting and, above all, the acoustic results bring satisfaction to our customers.
Lay-out like this requires very good coordination. It was a technical project, so it was interesting.
The architect brought the aesthetic side, we contributed with our precision, from the measurements to the installation and TEMPO mastered the manufacturing. A real teamwork between all the people involved!”
