THE ACOUSTIC RAINBOW

PAUL DOUMER SCHOOL – LA COURNEUVE (93)

Caring for the well-being of its children, the City of La Courneuve asked the SATO agency to completely redesign all the lunchrooms at Paul Doumer School. Part of this important restoration involved installing TEMPO panels both in the nursery school’s lunchroom and in the primary school’s cafeteria which can accommodate 200 and 180 children, respectively.

“What we liked best when discovering TEMPO products was this liberty of choice that the wide range of TEMPO coverings can offer.
TEMPO products were moreover proposed by the installing company. Beyond the perfect match with the technical requirements (acoustics and fire resistance), these products met our client’s request to inject colour and cheerfulness into the place.
Following the concept we had for the first lunchroom, we hanged panels to indicate the circulation areas. When the project manager saw how it looked like, he changed his mind about the wall panels for the nursery cafeteria , which were originally white. It was a real pleasure to have such a limitless choice this range can offer, and the result really lived up to our expectations!”
